A term male infant was born by spontaneous vaginal delivery to a 23 year old gravida 2 para mother. His weight, length, and head circumference were 2720g (8%), 47cm (6%) 31.5cm (1%) respectively; the remainder of his physical examination unremarkable. The pregnancy complicated intra-uterine growth retardation, gestational diabetes controlled with glyburide, thrombocytopenia. mother had past medical history obesity, BMI 32 (>95%), HPV infection, atypical squamous cells cervix. fetal ultrasound at 38 weeks age showed echogenic foci consistent cholelithiasis (Figure 1); previous US 37 normal. On routine laboratory testing mother’s blood type O positive infant’s A+ (positive). transcutaneous bilirubin 4.3 mg/dL 36 hours life. Both son discharged after two days without problem.
